Attend the Land Use Town Hall: SB50 & AB68 to find out how these bills will impact the development of our neighborhoods and the community.

The following bills will be discussed:

CA Assembly Bill (AB) 68: Accessory Dwelling Units

Allows the creation of accessory dwelling units in single-family and multifamily residential zones– the main house, an ADU (granny house) unit, up to 1200 sq ft and now a third, that is about 600 sq.ft.

CA Senate Bill (SB) 50: Planning and zoning: housing development: streamlined approval: incentives

Allows the building of a 5-story building in a residential community, where only single-story homes exist today.

Note: Neither of these bills require parking on the properties.

Susan Shelley: Vice President of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association & columnist for the Los Angeles Daily News.

Bill Brand: Mayor of the city of Redondo Beach & former two-term Redondo Beach City Councilmember.

Following the guest speakers, we will also be holding a question and answer session to address community concerns.
