Come to our EP Meeting/EP Communications Meeting meeting this Saturday, October 8th, 9:00 AM, at the Flyaway Bus Terminal, Community Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor. Go INSIDE -- take the elevator at the north end of the building (or the steps outside the building.) 7610 Woodley Avenue (NE Corner of Saticoy and Woodley in Lake Balboa. FREE PARKING in the short term lot out front in the spaces closest to Woodley Ave.
Autumn is here (at least according to the calendar!), and we've done so much! The CERT Conference is over, the Neighborhood Council Congress is complete, and the 9th Annual Disaster Preparedness Fair is a great memory! On top of all that, we've put in some long hours at our bins, updating and reorganizing. WHEW!!! Your EP Committee has been BUSY! Time to slow down just a tiny bit, take a breath and have some fun! Hint: Review your CERT notes and manual! 🙂
Come pat each other on the back for all you've accomplished, and enjoy a few of the rewards for all your hard work. We' want to think about things we want to accomplish in the coming months, too, so put on your thinking caps! What do YOU want us to get done???
It's going to be a less intense meeting this month, so come relax, enjoy, learn a few things, and anticipate the coming of the Great Pumpkin! 😉
